"In 2019 I was awarded with a Fulbright scholar to perform research for my PhD in San Francisco. I witnessed and experienced this city's amazing ecosystem for entrepreneurship and biotech startups. However, the pandemic started so I stopped my program and returned earlier than expected to Portugal. When I returned I couldn´t share the knowledge acquired with my colleagues and I was having difficulties finding the same environment as in San Francisco.
